Fasmed 98 in an hour or so, sold 49 for 800g each to some guy who knew they didn't remove dp or anything like that.. heh. Sold friend's 43 to the same guy, too for same price, and he farmed with me another 50 for him.. about 100 for each of us. Easy to get.

Thread summary:
You don't have factions but you DEMAND faction content for free.
You're pissed because the event is during your holidays.
You're pissed because the event is NOT during your holidays.
You're pissed because that's everything you do.
You're pissed because it's only a 6 day event.
You're pissed because it's a freaking 6 day event... far too long.
etc etc
And though i haven't found one, i'm quite sure there is the occasional
"Lol omgz0r, still no AoE Nerf!!!!!!!!"
"OMGZOR WTF, no Toucher Nerf? A-net scuckz0r"
"ROFL, spiritspamming, rofl"

As well as the typical paranoia:
"Underworld has been nerfed again!"
"Trolls have been nerfed again!"
"Omg, everyone who is a monk/warrior is a freaking bot and should be banned"
"Elona has been nerfed again!"
"Fissure has been nerfed again!"

Yay for well thought out criticism oO


Honestly people, you're getting a whole day chance of headstarting the event. Strange new items have started to drop and it doesn't even take half a brain to instantly know those are meant for the festival. Prepare for it, and just play. You will stumble upon the event in one way or another. You miss it out? I'm sorry, bad luck, really. Happened to me before but i'm still alive.

You need many of them, but you can't use them yet. The merchants will not give you money for it. Rumours are that you need at least 250 of them for one mask, and that is all they are good for.

I have done the area just outside of the Shing Jea monastery and one out of every kill dropped one. In one single session of killing mantids I got 11 Jade Wind orbs.
All those people willing to pay 250G for each of them are completely out of their minds.

The fact that you need 250 orbs might not be that bad. You needed 250 Naga Fangs for each Tengu Mask, but there were 3 quests that rewarded you with 200 all up, if you solo'd it, you got plenty more fangs. Just wait, there might be quests like this for globes.

Anyone else dissapointed in the decorations?

I'd say they plan on having quest's that will net you Jade Wind Orbs (or whatever they are called). If you read the event's page it mentions unique quest's and mini-mission's. I'd say that they will provide a good portion of the 250 (?) you need via them.. and not force people to only get them with boring farming grind.

Some kind of event box/bag would be nice, to put in all the special event items e.g. the various hats/helmets/items/gifts... some people like to collect.

OMG, this is just pathetic (in a way).

I say YAY for all you Factions people, cuz you get a cool party, and i say BOO!! for i think a lot of Non-Factions people (YES, WE STILL LIVE!), who are just being put aside from the moment Factions came out.

We want to party too, you know. Give us a special event, give us special items,
Give us the chance to slap the assasins and ritualists out of our towns! ^.^

i only hope we will get a event soon, cuz i'm not thinking (at the moment at least) about buying Factions, cuz it's doesn't add a lot of gameplay, and i played the free weekend, and that was rather... ... Boring.

Ever thought back of the Wintersday and Halloween events? Prophecies only players already got 2 events, which factions owners didnt get. Just be happy for the faction owners who can get their masks now as well (even with this event, the prophecies owners still have 3 masks (Jule Cap, Grenth Horns and Pumpkin Crown) while the faction owners have 2 (Tengu Mask and Dragon Ceremonial Mask))
